In this chapter Dave Winer defines weblogs as the unedited voice of a person. The Internet allows people to have an uncensored platform to share their true thoughts with others, on a personal or professional level. Winer once wrote, “Everyone-young or old, educated or not, man or woman, rich or poor- everyone has something to say. And some reason for believing they’re right.” People that wouldn’t have access to other media platforms like television or radio can share their thoughts using the Internet.
